This was our fourth year in the Pensacola Pelican and every year it only gets better. I cannot tell you how wonderful the beach was and the shells were amazing! My daughters loved every minute of it and if we were not at the beach we were at the pool or the sound. Even though our family and extended family is growing the home seems to grow with us. Every year you decorate and add a fun touch and this year we loved the big pelican outside on the deck! We pray that we can continue to come back year after year.

The home was spacious, clean and had a host of amenities that saved us time and money.

This was a wonderful place for the 7 of us to stay. The directions made it easy to find and very convenient to the beach.

We had fun going to the pier, setting the crab traps, and playing on the Santa Rosa sound beach.

The home was spacious, clean and had a host of amenities that saved us time and money. There was a high chair, portacrib, baby gate, DVD/VCR combo, cable TV, DSL internet, pots/pans, washer/dryer. Plenty of towels were also provided, which is a must when beachcombing! The balconies were amazing too!

The drive or walk along absolutely beautiful unspoiled miles of beach was priceless!

We enjoyed your Pensacola Pelican beach home immensely! We rented it for a week for a family reunion of 13 and it accommodated everyone nicely. The home was very thoughtfully stocked with plenty of linens, towels, kitchen needs, games etc. The privacy of the cul-de-sac between the sound and beach allowed us intimate family time together, while still remaining close enough to all local attractions. The drive or walk along absolutely beautiful unspoiled miles of beach was priceless. Highly recommended to all!

Thanks to the Hosmans' and the Pensacola Pelican, our family had a week we will never forget. The home, the view and the neighborhood was very pleasant, relaxing and we truly felt at home. We have started a new family tradition that includes the Pensacola Pelican.

The Pelican is an ideal beach house get a way. We all enjoyed the spacious living area and bedrooms and the many balconies, offering shade or sun. It didn't hurt that we had perfect weather and despite it being November, we swam everyday in the Gulf, just a few steps away. Also, very cool to have the privacy gate entrance, which not only added charm but a nice sense of security.

Each morning we opened the doors to the pleasant salt air breeze, brewed a few pots of coffee, and let the day unfold. With National Seashores in both directions, we got in lots of hiking which put us in just the right mood for evenings of wine, cheese, and seafood. Superb.

We loved the Pelican! Beach access was easy. A short walk across the street and not crowded.

We loved the Pelican!

We had two families with 3 and 4 children and their Grandmas to total 13 people. Slept everyone perfectly.

Great access to the pier for crabbing, fishing, shelling and small kids to play.   With the small children it was nice not to have a pool right outside our door. Stopping by the pool on the way back from the beach was perfect and if we wanted to go it was right around the corner.

Beach access was easy. A short walk across the street and not crowded. Lots of room for everyone.

The Pelican is fully stocked with everything we needed from beach toys and chairs to all the comforts of home.   We will certainly be coming back to Pensacola Beach and the Pelican.

The house is located on a cul-de-sac in a very quiet gated subdivision. This gives one the feeling of extreme privacy and peace.

The house furnishings are exceptional for groups - plenty of dishes, utensils, pots and pans. Well equipped for those who like to cook. This house is also well supplied with towels for the house and beach.

The mornings were fantastic, naps late in the afternoon, and kite flying on the beach in evening is a life-style that is easy to get accustomed to.

The Pensacola Pelican is an excellent place to vacation with the family, or to enjoy a family reunion. We recently celebrated our 20th anniversary at the Pensacola Pelican with family and had a wonderful time. The location is superb! The views are spectacular and the quiet space is unbelievable for being so close to stores and dining.

We had easy access to the beach, the bay and the community pool. I could not have asked for more. The gated community guaranteed the family security and privacy.

The home is well laid out for family gatherings or for getting away to some quiet space for reading. The kitchen is well stocked with dishes and cookware so preparing family meals was very easy. The beds are very comfortable and I was looking forward to sleeping late everyday; but we never had a chance to sleep-in! The children all were up ready to go shell hunting and swimming every morning - that time together was wonderful and we learned to nap in the afternoons.

We truly have to say that our stay at Pensacola Beach was made absolutely perfect by your accommodations! You absolutely took care of every detail. We felt at home and comfortable, and it is obvious that you take pride in making sure that your guests have every luxury. Not only is the location as perfect as it could be, but the house itself is even more beautiful than we imagined. Although this was our first visit to Pensacola Beach, you can be sure that we will get in touch with you to stay again in the coming years. (So, please look forward to hearing from us!)

Even though the weather was unusually not perfect, we were happy and comfortable every day-- we are so sad to be back in Ohio! There is not a single thing that we could even think to suggest to add to the Pelican-- you've thought of it all. By the way, you could make a fortune selling the beach carts! We were envied by literally every person we passed on the beach, and it made hauling everything back and forth simple. Your advice about the tides and restaurants also came in handy. Thank you for being so genuinely kind and helpful. We miss Pensacola already!

! We just got back for the second year in a row. We chose to stay in a beach house this year instead of the Portofino condominium complex as we did in 2008. Fortunately, we happened across the “Pensacola Pelican” on the internet and discovered a great place to stay and even old hometown ties with the Hosman’s.

The “Pensacola Pelican” was perfect for our stay! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and made our trip a lot easier. The main floor master suite worked great for our mother, the baby items were a lifesaver, and the teenagers were able to be teenagers. There was an abundance of clean towels and linens, and the kitchen was equipped with wonderful dishes, cutlery, cookware, and appliances…everything we needed and more. The location is perfect, a 24/7 view of the sound and a short, short walk to the Gulf. The wagon and beach toys were used by all.

is for everyone! The adults did as little as possible while the teenagers stayed as busy as possible. So many restaurants and unique gift shops to choose from and all kinds of water/beach related fun.

We had a great time…didn’t want to leave! The Hosman’s and the “Pensacola Pelican” made that possible. We will be booking our 2010 reservation ASAP!

The Pelican house was outstanding in all regards. Was extremely clean. Well stocked with dishes, towels and all the comforts of home. Comfortably fit 10 men. I would recommend it without hesistation.

In our recent transition from Ohio to the Pensacola area we were blessed to find out about your Pensacola Pelican beach house. We truly enjoyed it and would definitely recommend your home to anyone looking for a clean, spacious, relaxing vacation getaway at a premier beach.

The Pensacola Pelican was close to both the Gulf and the Sound (within walking distance). Everything we needed was in the home as well as some additional items. The beds are very comfortable, with very soft bed linen and bath towels.
The furniture in the beach house is bright, sunny, and relaxing.

This was the first time we rented this home and we are already looking forward to returning. The view from all of the rooms is absolutely wonderful, with an idyllic view of the Sound or Beach. The house is beautiful. Most people up north here don't realize how beautiful the beaches in the Florida panhandle are. I think they are nicer that those in south Florida.

Your house accommodated us perfectly and it was really nice to have access to baby gear since we have a toddler.

I cannot tell you what a find it was to stumble upon this house on the internet. The level of professionalism and care the Hosman's gave us was amazing.

We were looking for a place to have a family reunion as we came in from all over the US. My mother is terminally ill and we wanted to make this a special and memorable Christmas.

The cul-de-sac where the kids could ride their scooters, the water on both sides of the street, the laundry facilities, complete kitchen that cooked up a great Christmas meal with a turkey and a roast feeding 10 quite comfortably...it was all so accommodating, convenient and relaxing...not to mention elegant!

We even took advantage of the photographer she has listed on her lease and got some great family portraits.

We will remember this Christmas for years to come...Thank you!

I cannot thank you enough for allowing us to opportunity to use the "Pensacola Pelican" as our "home away from home" while in the Pensacola area.

I have always stayed at the hotels on the beach, but always felt like I was paying too much, and never really wanted to be in the room.

The Pensacola Pelican was so much different, so much better, and had so much more room! And honestly, when you cost out getting 2 hotel rooms vs. the cost of the Pensacola Pelican with all that space-it is a no brainer going forward! We are SOLD!

Thanks again, and we are already checking our schedules for our return trip!

This is our fourth or fifth year renting the Pensacola Pelican
from Mr. and Mrs. Hosman.

The house is very comfortable and sleeps 14 people comfortably. We always come as a family and church group. The house is not far from what we come to do, and that's fishing.

We always come in October so we never get to go swimming in the community pool, but it's there. I've seen it with my own eyes (it's nice by the way).

It's also close to souvenier shops and restaraunts.

We will rent this house every year if we can.

You'll never want to leave the Pensacola Pelican !!!

This was our family's first vacation to Pensacola Beach and we were not sure what to expect when we arrived at the Pensacola Pelican. We had rented beach cabins in the past at other locations that provided a place to stay, with few amenities included. What we found at the Pensacola Pelican was a "second home" with everything provided to make our stay the most enjoyable beach trip ever.

From the time we pulled into the driveway, we knew we had found the perfect place. The home is well-maintained and provides ample room on the deck(s) for sunning, visiting, or just sitting and enjoying the view. The huge garage had plenty of space for parking and the kids found a collection of beach toys stored there that they used all week long (along with a wagon for hauling them back and forth to the beach).

From the large living area to the comfy bedrooms to the fully-stocked ktchen and bathrooms (you will never run out of towels and washrags!), we found everything we needed to make us feel at home. There were even games, jigsaw puzzles and a large selection of books (for kids and grown-ups).

The location of the Pelican was perfect for our family. There was very little traffic in the area and an easy, short walk (2 or 3 minutes) or a quick drive to one of the parking areas (1 minute) found us on a secluded beach surrounded by white sand and beautiful emerald water.

Our time spent at the Pensacola Pelican was so relaxing and my family had a blast... a trip we will never forget. Thank you, Angia, for being such a wonderful hostess and providing us with our "home away from home"!

Thank you for letting us rent your home. It is such a beautiful and relaxing home. We had everything that we ever needed, even the toys at the beach (that was a real plus).

My sons loved the room that they were staying in. We stayed in the upstairs Master bedroom and let my parents take the master downstairs. Each room has plenty of pillows and each bathroom has plenty of towels.

The kitchen has all the cooking utensils, pots and pans that you ever need to cook a meal.

The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful. We love the private pier. My husband and our 6 year old son went fishing there. They caught a sand shark and later released the shark back to the sounds.

The house is just walking distance to the beach.

There’s nothing bad to say about this house. Our experience at your home is positive. Everything is great and we are definitely going back there again next year.

I will have to contact you once we know the timeframe and hopefully at that time, the house is available for us to rent again.

The location was perfect for families with smaller children.

Pensacola Pelican met all our family's needs for a super week at the beach. No detail had been overlooked, from towels and washcloths, beach towels, detergent for washing clothes, hand soap at all sinks, a well equipped kitchen, to extra supplies of toilet tissue.

The location was perfect for families with smaller children, almost no traffic on the cul-d-sec, and a great view for watching our younger fishermen try their luck off the pier. We could not have asked for more. It was like being in our own home.

We enjoyed sitting on the deck and watching the boats. At dusk the water looked like a sheet of glass. The boys enjoyed fishing off the dock at night, no catches but a lot of fun.

Any Family would enjoy what the Pensacola Pelican had to offer!

Our Chicago family enjoyed the Pensacola Pelican, with it’s great location/views for both the beach ……..which is wonderful, so clean, large, and with clean white sand……..and the Sound. We walked along the Sound beach, towards the easternmost tip of the island, and enjoyed then crossing over to the beach and making a large circle. The Beach near the Pelican was quiet, and peaceful.

For more action, the main beach in town was fun to experience. Great food was enjoyed at Pegleg Pete’s as well as at Flounder’s.

The kitchen at the Pelican was very well stocked with cooking equipment for large family home-cooked meals.

The decks off of several bedrooms was nice for sunbathing and just enjoying the outdoors. For families with little ones, we know that all of the kid equipment stored in the first floor closet would be really handy.

Any family would enjoy what the Pensacola Pelican had to offer! Enjoy!

This will be our third year renting the Pensacola Pelican!

This will be our third year renting the Pelican Beach house. Our family gathers there for vacation. I cannot think of a better way to spend time with the family and our children.

The home is perfect for kid time and adult time. The location is awesome because you have your choice of Pensacola Beach, the pool or the sound.

Our kids love fishing off the pier or watching their fathers fish in the ocean.

Angia has done a spectacular job of having everthing you could need at the home for the kids and adults. The beach house itself has so much room and is great for entertaining and just spending time together.

We love having a morning cup of coffee on the deck and hearing the sounds of the ocean. We love going every year but truly hate leaving.
